A milestone is a payment stage within an escrow transaction. Instead of releasing the full payment at once, a transaction can be divided into multiple milestones, allowing payments to be made in instalments as specific parts of the agreed work or delivery are completed and approved.

Yes. Each milestone can have a different value depending on the scope of work, deliverables, or assets being transferred.

A dispute can be raised for the specific milestone in question. Biznaire will review the evidence related to that milestone and determine whether the funds should be released, refunded, or otherwise resolved.

Yes. Milestones are ideal for software development, website design, digital marketing, consulting, content creation, and other service-based projects where work is delivered in stages.

If a transaction is terminated or disputed, completed milestones may be settled separately while unfinished milestones remain secured until a resolution is reached.

A website development project worth ₦500,000 may be structured as:

• Milestone 1: Project Planning – ₦100,000
• Milestone 2: UI/UX Design – ₦150,000
• Milestone 3: Development – ₦200,000
• Milestone 4: Final Deployment – ₦50,000

Funds are released progressively as each milestone is completed and approved.

Yes. A transaction fee may apply and will be clearly displayed before payment is made.

Depending on the transaction settings, the fee may be paid by the buyer, seller, or shared between both parties.

Immediately report the transaction through the platform and contact support with all available details.
